I tried fiber and used milk of magnesia, anyone know a good simple method or product?
I’m sorry guys/gals I can’t chose which one is the best answer. ALL were very helpful. Please don’t be offended but i’m setting this question to voting. Thanks everyone.

If you’re seeing mucous in your stool, it could be a sign of a gallbladder problem (especially if you don’t drink much water or have been losing a lot of fat recently). Make sure you only drink water or juice (no soda or coffee) and are getting at least 80oz per day of these fluids to clear out your system.

I would suggest going easy on the laxatives and making an appointment with your physician.

For laxatives I would suggest a tablespoon of unscented mineral oil followed by a small glass of water. Make sure you’re getting enough fiber (maybe 20-25g of fiber daily), and cutting down on restaurant food helps too.

About two months ago, I decided to try and lose some weight and also to try and rid my body of toxins at the same time. I wanted to see if it would help my chronic fatigue syndrome and related disorders, since nothing else really has. I’ve been taking a lot of prescription meds for pain, anxiety, insomnia and mood regulation for nearly five years. Now, smoothies for breakfast and for most lunches have become my routine. I try to keep them very healthy and filling, using organic fruits and vegetables, Activia or similar Yoplait product, and sometimes soy milk (I’m lactose intolerant). My bowel movements have become very regular, and copious, once or twice per day. But my flatulence has also become very regular, and both my gas and my stool smell different and more foul than before the diet change. Does this mean what I’m doing is unhealthy, or can it mean that I am achieving my goal of cleansing my system of nasties?

Actually, your on the right track. Your intestines and colon build up ‘junk" on the walls…just like your kitchen shink pipes do. When you detox you are taking the "junk" off the walls off by Layers. Especially if your an eat meater before all the waste stuck in your system just was rotting. It takes time to remove all the years of bad eating from your system.

Your doing great..keep it up!

Hello, I have been wanting to try a colon cleanse. I need someone who knows or who has used one to tell me a few things: is it ok to use one at my age of 15, will it be painful, will I be spending the majority of my days on the toilet, are they safe, and which one would you personally recommend? I don’t want to get in over my head here.
Before you do a colon cleanse, make sure it is o.k. with your parents. It is not painful and is safe. If you go to your local health store and ask for an all natural colon cleanse, they can help you. Wait after you have eaten dinner for at least two hours before you take a pill. It is not like a laxative. If you don’t have a health store close, visit this site, if you want to know how to get colon cleanse benefits for your body.  Colon cleanse is great for people who are serious about feeling healthier and losing weight.

I wanted to go on a diet but i thinking about getting my colon cleansed first. I guess i just wanna start fresh and get all the bad shit i ate out of me. Also I heard beef takes years to fully digest and clear of of your body. Is thats true because i eat a lot of steaks and hamburgers and i would be really backed up right now..please help thanks alot.
A colon cleanse gets rid some of the sludge that is caked on in you colon. Thinks of it like a lasagna. For every year you are old you have a layer of sludge in you colon. By doing a colon cleanse you will break some of that sludge away and pass it. Some people expel more than others. So just doing one Cleanse doesn’t get rid of all the Sludge build up. I have lost 15 lbs in one week before and lost 10 lbs at a different time. Everyone is different. It’s good to do one once a year minimum. Its very good for your body and does help with future weight (fat) loss as well.  I have done the box cleanses and have done a 5 day juice cleanses and they both work. It’s not a fast, so you will have nutrients that you are ingesting every day. It gives your digestive system a little vacation if you will from all the day in and day out work it performs. I highly recommend everyone to do it. Good for ya! Take care, TMontana
